Celebrate small wins along the way to keep motivation high. Surround yourself with a supportive network of mentors, peers, and advisors who can offer guidance and encouragement. Continuously seek learning opportunities to stay ahead of market trends and enhance your skills. Practice self-care to avoid burnout, ensuring you remain energized and productive. Regularly revisit your vision and mission to remind yourself why you started and to stay inspired despite the challenges.

I believe half of the battle is won if one can maintain positive attitude towards situations. Its easier said than done, but with proper practice of cultivating solution oriented mindset; one can remain positive. In my experience looking at the brighter side has made my journey less stressful and more fruitful. Being positive is a choice one has to concisely work on . Complaining is easy, but remaining calm and focusing on right thing is hard, It comes with practice though. Next time take a deep breath and remain positive.

Positivity is a superpower in a world addicted to negativity. 4 tools that’ve helped me: 1. Deliberately invest in at least one person at work. Doesn’t matter if you’re in a leadership role or not, or whether it’s relational-focused or job competency-focused, invest. 2. Pick one thing a day to compliment someone else on. And have one thing a day you encourage yourself with. A gratitude journal/sticky note collection is great. 3. Engage in meaningful opportunities/platforms. Community service, networking events, LinkedIn, expand connections, build REAL community. 4. Move from transactional relationships to authentic relationships or your success, your growth, and your influence will suffer. Give more, take less. It’ll come back to you.

4 time management tools that’ve helped me: -Email Batching: Create 3 meeting invites daily for designated time to complete emails. Try the 3-21-0 method. 3 daily blocks, 21min each, until 0 emails. Have a plan and don’t constantly be pulled out of higher priority tasks. -Swallow the frog: Complete the “worst” task first thing. You’re at your least mental fatigue and most willing to dig into the dirt. -Eat the Elephant: How do you do it? Little bites. Ex. You have a presentation to create. Rather than view it as a whole and get overwhelmed, break it up, and focus on each section. You can further break down depending on the size of the project. -2 min rule: If it’s a task that will take less than 2 minutes to do, do it now.

One thing that has helped me managing time is creating these two on daily basis: -Calendar -To Do list I understand there is so much to discuss about effectivity of these tools; but when done daily it helps to center the focus on main thing for THAT day. Rest everything else falls in place when priority items are taken care of.

A few months ago I felt at a crossroad. I didn't feel motivated anymore and nothing I was doing gave me satisfaction. At some point I realized that I felt like that because I was just repeating the same tasks over and over again. There was no challenge and I felt like I wasn't growing. And that was the case, because I stopped learning new things. I shifted my mindset and looked at things that were not working in our business. I made a list of all the skills I had to develop to fix those issues and that gave me new motivation. Never underestimate the importance of learning!

Join direct industry related committee’s and communities in order to get your name/brand out in the public eye (and be ACTIVE in them) 2. Join indirect industry related committee’s and communities. These can influence business and broaden your scope on opportunities as a whole (ex. I’m in construction AND in real estate/property development committees because I get to communicate with owners and better understand future industry work) 3. Be authentic AND authoritative: Don’t just have an elevator pitch, have a relational pitch. Why do you care about them? 4. Don’t always take, a posture of giving will take you much further. Ask “how can I help you?” more, DON’t pitchslap
