To keep your career aligned with your goals, aspirations, and values, start by regularly assessing where you are versus where you want to be. Set clear, measurable goals, and adjust them as needed. Focus on continuous learning—upskilling and reskilling are vital in today's rapidly changing job market. Network strategically; relationships can open doors. Finally, ensure your career choices reflect your core values—this fosters long-term satisfaction and growth. Stay proactive, adaptable, and true to yourself to keep moving forward.

To make effective career decisions, you have to know where you are headed. Here are 3 questions I ask my clients to help them plan their long term trajectory 1) On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your career satisfaction? 2) What would it take to increase your career satisfaction +3? 3) What's holding you back from making that happen?

Don’t chase every shiny object. Prioritize opportunities that build on what you’ve already started. Consistency over time leads to mastery, which in turn aligns with bigger goals.

Give yourself permission to change your long-term career goals as you evolve. It's an unnecessary pressure to try and figure out a "forever" path. Hopefully your career is going to give you the freedom to change what matters to you and where you want to put your focus over time. If you're currently feeling lost in your career and not sure where to go next, these are 3 of my favorite self-discovery questions: 1. What are my unique superpowers? 2. What am I the most fulfilled/energized/lit up by? 3. Where is there overlap between my superpowers and my favorite types of work?
