Engagement is easily forgotten, and people can start to feel detached from their coworkers and peers. At the very least, make time for everyone on your team or project to get together. Maybe a planning session at the beginning of the week, and a recapping session at the end. Express that these meetings are for open communication and try not to set a strict schedule, but come prepared with talking points if people aren’t sure what to say. Finally, don’t make speaking mandatory - WFH can keep people in their bubbles and sometime they aren’t feeling the interaction.

Team engagement can bolster from unsolicited delegation and empowerment. If you recognize a member's strength is a weakness of your own or opportunity for the team, then delegate them (and explain why!) to lead that particular discussion, project or action. And double down with some empowerment to coach others or facilitate a short training/video if the member performed well. You want to always show your team that you're willing to let go of the reins because you're confident in their individual abilities and ability to maneuver as one if necessary. Encourage your team to run team meetings and facilitate occasional retrospectives with out you, but request a recap including action items for yourself. Public positive feedback goes miles also!
