Yes, In logistics Last minute changes are very common and the route change is one among them. We do some of the below best practices. 1.Keep Driver comfortable and happy always. - Drivers would follow only known person orders. We avoid multiple communication when it comes to instructing the driver. Whenever the Instructions of route change comes, only the respective executive handle that driver will instruct him. Before instructing the driver he will also be aware of the route/traffic/further orders to deliver by that driver/his nature/duty timings etc. the executive will workout the best route and then instruct the driver to follow that. 2.Train driver to get aligned to company vision 3.Incentivise driver 4.Avoid Last moment changes.

It's important to use clear communication, training, and technology to help logistics drivers adjust to route modifications. Start by giving drivers real-time alerts on route changes using mobile apps or GPS systems. Regularly train drivers on the new routes, identifying landmarks, challenges, and alternative routes. Intelligent navigation that adapts to traffic circumstances can also improve adaptation. Creating a friendly environment where drivers may ask questions and give feedback will boost their change management confidence. Integrating these tactics helps reduce disruptions and ease route changes in logistics operations.
