Clearly defined goals are important for guidance of the journey of the application of operations research with help of mathematical models for improving the Quality of decisions at the strategic, tactical or operational levels of organisation. The science of better is what operations research is popularly known as. Once the goals are met through one iterations there is always scope for betterment.
