IT is not really binary (pun intended) in the sense that success and fail are a continuum. You can have a system that "works" and achieves nothing. You can have a system that is "failing" and solves a real need and shouldn't be replaced. All in all, fail quickly and move on with whatever the lessons are. There's no CPE in IT but we need to learn, and relearn, and apply, and shift the application, of new knowledge far faster and less formally than lawyers and CPAs. So do it!

Learn to fail fast. For example when doing something test as often as possible. Like building a multi step workflow. You don’t build the whole thing and test. Build the first step and test. Works? Then move to next step build and test. That way you encounter an error you know where you introduced it instead of sorting through piles of code.

First thing first accept failure, there is nothing wrong in accepting failure. Now introspect what made you feel like you failed in that situation. There may be many reasons which might have led to the outcome you are currently in. Sometimes the reason are controlled and sometimes they are not. Now if you know the reason for failure do a root cause analysis and don’t be biased or bring in emotions while evaluating this step. If you need to upskill do that as a practice. If you need to improve on communication skills do that without hesitation. If you are not feeling energetic during work try adjusting your daily life by engaging in active lifestyle. If your relationship with your family is not good fix it by communicating openly.
