Most CAD softwares have very similar commands, and keyboard shortcuts, along with import/export feature. One can have the same(or similar) keyboard shortcuts across multiple CAD softwares as well.

One with experience can understand that some of the CAD jobs are repetitive. On identifying these repetitive jobs one should define a standard work procedure - a procedure which delivers the same output at the shortest time with topmost quality. Secondly, one should learn to follow the modularity principle. Modularity means defining sub parts in a part. This is done so that when a part needs a change, the other parts don't get affected and the change happens at the shortest time. Finally, one should learn to establish links between components. For example when one has a box and cover with screws, one should use a single sketch to control the screw points in both box and use the same sketch to position the screws as well
