En mi opinión antes de aprender ciberseguridad hay que saber como funcionan los sistemas operativos, las redes y las aplicaciones, si sabes de programación mucho mejor. Cuanto mejores sean estas bases más fácil será entender los conceptos de ciberseguridad y más fácil será avanzar en tu carrera, no existe una formula única, ni un único camino para hacer esto. Sin las bases, los fundamentos, muchas veces se aprenden técnicas y el uso de herramientas que no se entienden como funcionan y eso te puede permitir trabajar en ciberseguridad, pero te hará más difícil evolucionar. Evidentemente se requiere tener curiosidad por como funcionan las cosas y una frase típica en este sector “pensar fuera de la caja”, es decir, pensamiento alternativo.

Step-6: (Optional) Build a network with Professionals in the same field. This would allow individuals to find more potential job opportunities.

Por otro lado también aparecen nuevas técnicas y nuevas herramientas, como me han dicho recientemente en una formación, si cada día puedes mejorar un 1%, en la suma de los días que tiene un a?o se puede mejorar mucho, palabras muy sabias. Aprender de los mejores en talleres, seminarios o conferencias es fundamental para seguir creciendo. Seguir sus charlas, estudios e investigaciones mejoran tus habilidades y refuerzan tus ganas de seguir aprendiendo, puede que al principio no puedas seguirlos, pero con el tiempo empiezas a entenderlos y te generan nuevas ideas.
