I create a safe, fun, non judgemental & open environment where everyone feels comfortable sharing ideas. Active listening is key—I continuously engage with team members- be it scheduled meetings or impromptu calls , ask probing questions, and encourage creative thinking, even for seemingly impractical ideas. I ensure that contributions are always recognized and celebrated, building a culture of respect and inclusion.From my experience I have learnt that humility is one of the key ingredient to encourage fresh thinking and innovation in teams.

I feel it needs to start before the actual meeting itself - share the agenda points in advance so that the team can come prepared with their pointers. Get inputs from the team - either in a round-robin format or if it is more comfortable for them through sticky notes. Ensure that each team member gets enough talking time, step in if anyone tries to downplay others' ideas. Being respectful is the key. Even if an idea isn't great, don't shut it down. Discuss it, paraphrase it to ensure that you have understood it correctly, and discuss why you feel something will or will not work. Ensure that good ideas are acknowledged with due credit to the contributor. Finally, follow-up post the meeting to ensure that what is discussed gets actioned.

Please always align them to long term product vision and goals. ?? Recognize the unique skills each member brings and align tasks with their strengths and product, organization objectives to show their contributions matter. ?? Please don’t wait for big celebrations to celebrate any win, if you feel someone has done a fantastic job, you can immediately provide him accolades and similarly if someone needs improvement, provide him feedback as well. ?? Encourage cross-functional teamwork so members feel integrated and part of the collective mission
