Always think shortterm vs longterm, don't try to get everything 100% on day one, nothing is. Just make sure to keep it on your backlog of items to be fixed after fo live, in the mean time find a temporary fix/workaround to achieve your target. This ofcourse is highly dependent on the severity of the issue and the availability of a suitable fix.

This includes unit testing , where individual parts of the app are tested for proper operation, and system testing , where you test the app as a whole.
