Frustrated, I quit all social media and discovered that the world isn't as bleak as it appears online. After 2.5 years away, I've found more time for my family, exploring new ventures, and upskilling for better job opportunities. Taking proper breaks, avoiding burnout, and surrounding yourself with positive people are key to maintaining a healthy balance for continued learning.

How do you make time for continuing education? BY REDUCING SOCIAL MEDIA USE! Remember, our thumbs never endlessly scrolled through pictures and videos before (doom scrolling), this is a new phenomenon caused by social media's addictive apps. Put the time spent wasting scrolling, back in to learning, prioritise your growth. Ofcourse there are other ways too...

For many of us, learning feels like a chore. Our brain directs us to go the path of least effort, which means we spend our available time on entertaining ourselves with TV shows, social media etc. Here is what works for me: 1) Learning is fun! Select topics that interest you. If it is not directly related to your job, never mind! Believe me, anything new you learn will be useful some day. 2) Audio books and podcasts work for me. I can listen while driving in the car, when walking, when doing tasks at my house. You have many opportunities during the day which you can use to learn new stuff. 3) Interpersonal skills is the single most important skill today. Observe and learn from others how to be a better human being and you will thrive!

If we are learning for some specific desired goal that would untlimate goal then yes we should prioritise learning stuffs than multiple partnerships. Also we can filter out the best partnership which makes more sense to do it.

Learning never stops, even with a packed schedule! Here’s how I keep up: ??Full on Intergration: I incorporate learning into my daily workflow by setting specific goals for new skills. For example, I might set a quarterly goal to master a new CRM tool. By aligning these goals with current projects, I ensure that learning is not an extra task but a natural part of my job. ?? Leveraging my Commute : Podcasts turn travel time into a chance to gain new perspectives. Staying sharp and adaptable is key in partnerships, so I also read industry reports, attend webinars, and join experts at conferences to make sure I am up to date on everything!

Taking short online courses and staying updated with the latest news in your industry, including through LinkedIn feeds and following Top Influencers, is one of my main strategies for continuous learning.

The traditional classroom setting may not align with your busy schedule, but that doesn’t mean you lack options. Explore flexible learning formats like online courses, webinars, or podcasts that fit into your life. These resources can be consumed in bite-sized pieces—during your commute, over lunch, or while waiting for meetings. This approach allows you to integrate learning into your day seamlessly, ensuring that you can prioritize personal growth without compromising your partnership responsibilities. A learner always learns; from everything, everyone and everywhere! Open to listen and learn. Observe to learn. Obey (put in to practice) to learn. These attitudes are necessary for learning, which will make significant difference.

I take advantage of flexible formats, such as online and in-person webinars, which fit easily into my schedule. Leveraging downtime, like commuting or breaks, for listening to podcasts or reading industry news helps me stay informed without disrupting my workflow

I never leave home without a business or other learning book in my bag (often foreign language these days). Waiting at bus stops, on trains etc adds up. I love that feeling of finishing a book inside a week just by using dead commuting time!!

Every professional encounters pockets of downtime throughout the day—waiting for a partner's response or during commutes. Make the most of these moments by engaging with educational content. Create a list of articles, eBooks, or videos that you can easily access and explore during these short breaks. This habit transforms unproductive time into valuable learning opportunities, allowing you to stay informed and grow without overwhelming your schedule. I don’t believe this is the best way around it. Of course I’m there will be moments (especially when you’re starting out) that you need to overwork yourself, but that is not the solution. The world will not end if you take some time for yourself- if not, it will lead to burnout. Take some time to yourself, you don’t have to be working constantly.

I refer to these small sources of information that I use daily as “content nuggets.” These include articles from LinkedIn Top Influencers, newsletters, and news from specialized portals.

Undoubtedly, learning to delegate is essential for career advancement. Keeping track of the number of tasks you perform in a day helps you see how you are progressing in this skill.

You don't have to complete a full time masters degree to be meaningfully learning! I blend podcasts, books, reports and dialogues with other leaders (mentorships and other less structured approaches) to keep the learning both interesting and 'real world'. Book clubs, workplace lunch n links, these kinds of initiatives are also really nice if you prefer a more sociable way to learn without the heavy commitment of a classroom based course.
