1 Know your value proposition

2 Tailor your answer to the role

Don't give a generic answer that could apply to any account management position. Instead, tailor your answer to the specific role and company you're interviewing for. Show that you've done your homework and that you understand what they're looking for. Demonstrate how your account management skills match their requirements and expectations, and how you can add value to their team and their clients. Use keywords and phrases from the job description, and align your answer with the company's mission, vision, and culture.

3 Focus on benefits, not features

5 End with a question

Don't just end your answer with a statement or a thank you. Instead, end with a question that shows your curiosity and engagement.
