Typically, the problem (lack of sync) is not in the vision but in value creation that leads to that vision. As a startup you are always struggling with limited resources and need to have focus - you cannot do everything, at the same time! Hence, it is important to sync beyond vision, with the value creation initiatives that lead to this vision. Sit down with founders, discuss these value creation initiatives, align these with your timelines and priorities, as well as see their implication on successive funding needs / rounds. To achieve a sync with vision, the sync needs to be achieved at the value creation level.
