Automotive is one of those industries where the chances of having accidents are very high. Workers here need to handle many dangerous components like chemicals, batteries, engines, and other electric items. The slightest negligence can cause major accidents and injuries. Automotive manufacturing workers face many hazards as they operate heavy machinery, handle sharp metal sheets, weld together metals, assemble interiors and inspect for quality assurance. To help prevent accidents, workers should be equipped with reliable yet comfortable head-to-toe PPE solutions that won't get in the way.

I have always preferred to make sure that an employer knows how engaging I am with others on safety topics and my desire to be involved in solid training programs. In nearly every interview I've been in I ask the interview team about their program for safety. I ask probing questions like "can you walk me through the training I would receive on how to stay safe in your process?" I also inquire about "what are your expectations of the company leadership where safety is concerned?" I feel you can learn a lot about a companies EHS culture with just those two questions and some active listening. If they don't have much of an answer, I conclude they don't have much of a program.

Honesty is the best policy here. If you give a prospective employer an inaccurate picture of your knowledge or experience with safety related to their process, they may assume you know as much as you are saying. If this happens they may decide to hire you knowing they don't have a program to give you the skills required to perform the task safely because they believe you already possess them!

I do believe its a dynamic situation every QHSSE personnel faces; give me an honest articulation according to your present, past experience and implementation strategies you've adopted.

Operations and strategies regarding safety in automobile manufacturing companies and companies are impossible to be successful without adequate human resources, so a strong, coordinated and confident team must be consolidated. And it is the convergence of technology with the human factor, with video surveillance systems, access controls, payroll systems, Human Resources, what is coming for the future where all areas have communication with each other, adding and making productive processes more efficient and comprehensive security.

Safety means increasing awareness of team regarding identification of unsafe act and conditions and elimination of same, motivate team to report nearmiss and first aid and HD of countermeasures, regular safety audit of equipment and workplace as well as convincing management to be a part of this drive

There's no job so important that it can not be done safely.. safety is first and always, and matters of safety should and must never be compromised!
