If you have an idea, approach your supervisor on a separate forum and pitch the idea to him/her. That person will have more context and send you in the right direction if they agree the idea might be worth exploring. Just keep in mind that the business machine is much larger than what you are exposed to in your 2-month internship, so there might be reasons why your idea isn't the solution. Just ask why, learn, and move on.

The founder tends to be very busy and is open to any support that gets items off of their to-do list. This is your opportunity to learn, get feedback, act quickly, and gain experience.

Communicate with your Manager - try and agree what this looks like upfront! If you're doing a remote first work experience then this is SO important - your Lead is not going to have time to micro manage your to do list, so make life easy for them! For me I like an end of day round up - so I know what you're working on, how much capacity you have etc. Communication is not only updates - it's asking questions when you're unsure to not waste time - this can be to them or others in the team. It's sharing interesting articles, news and LI updates you've seen! It's contributing to team conversations and slack chats! Mastering communication makes a world of difference in the busy (and often chaotic) world of startups!
