Good to know dimensional modelling aka star schema, Slowly changing dimensions (SCD) concepts, and then switch to modern cloud data stack - Data bricks ( Spark) , Azure ADF.Master Python libraries for data science ( pyspark etc). Understand the domain of the data set involved. Remember to master SQL as that is still a very important skill in this field. Once cannot succeed without SQL.
