When guiding non-English speakers, I keep it simple. A translation app like Google Translate breaks the language barrier quickly. Then, I show them a map with key landmarks—they recognize visuals faster than words. If they have a phone, I suggest an offline map app like Maps.me in their language. Sometimes gestures and clear directions are all it takes. If needed, I’ll involve a local for help. The goal is to make it easy and intuitive, so they feel confident navigating on their own. Less talking, more showing.

I would offer to help them with a translation app on my phone. By typing in their language or using the voice feature, we can communicate more effectively and get directions or information.
