You're feeling unfulfilled in your job. How can you reignite your passion?

There were times i feel like giving up on my photography Journey because things were not going the way i planned. I had to sit myself down to understand the reason i chose to be a photographer. I see that a lot of brands on the digital platforms needs me to stand out from the crowd by having an Authentic visuals , I decided to collaborate with some brands who were not having so much visibility on Linkedin, I created some Authentic Visuals for them and by the time they showcased their images they began to have so much visibilities and got much sales. this has kept me going all along and i always want to be the solution to so many brands out there.

Most of us who believe we have lost our passion have only forgotten where we’ve put it. Placing anything anywhere is a big responsibility. It does not mean that you do not care about what you own but that you may be tired of carrying it. I am sorry. This takes a lot of energy and with everything else you are responsible for, you may wrongfully judge yourself like so many of us do. All I can say is that you are much more than what you think you are supposed to be. I believe your answer lies in what you already know as a photographer and that is to FOCUS. This is all you can ever really control. There is not one of us who ever goes unchallenged to gain greater clarity. Just remember what others may call out of focus may be your focus for now.

To reignite your passion in your job, start by reconnecting with your interests and values. Reflect on what initially drew you to your profession and what aspects of your work bring you joy. Seek out new challenges or projects that align with your passions and offer opportunities for growth. Consider networking with colleagues, attending industry events, or pursuing further education to broaden your skills and perspective. By rediscovering your motivation and actively engaging in activities that inspire you, you can reignite your passion and find fulfillment in your job once again.

Our local arts council invited me to teach a photography class to children. To make it digestible for them, I had to spend time breaking down photography into basic components. That process sparked my creativity! I forgot there were so many "adjustable" parts about photography- such as focusing light rays, composition, changing contrast, etc. Once you see all the little moving parts it can inspire you to tweak them a little differently and see what happens. Teaching photography gave me new perspective and re-energized my creativity.

During those times I didnt know what to do, even after understanding my WHY, I had to collaborate with Top Photographers in order to learn more about my skills and to understand more about their journey . Through my Collaborations I was able to get back on my feet and recognize how i can be of impact to brands out there.

There were times i would go to events i wasnt called to, just to create some images and i would get back home and check those images and realize how better i have am becoming every each day. At times we must learn to get out of our comfort zones to discover more about ourselves and what we want in life.

I dont joke with feedbacks after working for clients , inshort most times i dont always want them to tell me they love the outcome, i always want to hear the bad sides in order to learn more about my weakness. this has helped me become much more better as a professional Photographer and Videographer

I do this most of the time, I go to resort centers , Beach and amusement parks to get some rest, but most times I go with one of my cameras to take some memories and with these amazing shots i still find myself getting much better everyday
