You're a fashion designer with bold ideas. How can you ensure your client loves your innovative designs?

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but designing for a client is 100% about them. You might have bold ideas for their garments, but if that's not what they're requesting of you, then it's time to pivot. Working within the parameters that a client gives you isn't always easy, but it's essential. They are paying you to deliver a result that is right for them, and your business will eventually rely on them being happy with those results. I've worked with too many designers who try to put all the bells and whistles into a design that needs to work for a budget-conscious company. Trust me - those designers don't get asked to come back and design for them again. Understand your client's needs and if they want bold, then you can go all out!

Make first meeting about her , ask some questions about her hobbies, music, art her lifestyle what like in fashion trends, color she love more ...etc This make me know her more to start design what look her personality.

Totally agree with Rachel's comment! It says it right here: thoroughly understanding the customer's needs. It's a conversation I often have with my students, and don't get me wrong, there is somewhat of a nudge that you, as the designer, might do to help move your customer forward. But just because YOU think your customer would look great in something a little more forward thinking doesn't mean THEY will. In the end, once you start creating for commerce, it's all about "Will the customer buy what you're selling?" And if the customer doesn't want or need it, it really doesn't matter how cool YOU think it is.

This definitely helps a customer get into your more "innovative" designs. I often think about the relationship between Zendaya and Law Roach. The two of them have created such magic together, and you've seen how Zendaya's style has evolved. That could not have happened if she didn't trust Law Roach's vision. Of course, they collaborate, but he definitely takes chances with her style. That would never happen if she didn't trust him. Building trust is so key! If a client trusts you, a customer will take a chance on something that they wouldn't normally do because you suggested it and believe it'll be amazing for them.

Something I've learned along my journey as a print designer is that clients can't visualize prints unless they are shown on a model or a home decor item. It immediately gives an idea of the scale, the boldness and the overall feeling. It's even better when placed in an interior or within a bigger setting. I always say that clients need to be seduced with images that are close to their world.

Sometime when clients ask for high-quality fabric & high price we make same design for fitting with low_ cost fabric to save original fabric frome any mistake.

Sure I do , almost time I choose to clients accessories for her outfit & make-up & hair style to sure she look great in our design .
