I think I’m well-qualified to answer that question since I have just launched my product. Though it's still in the early phase. To motivate my global team, I follow a few basic rules: No Micromanagement: I simply avoid all sorts of micromanagement and that includes wasting any time in team meetings. Trust & Respect: I have immense trust in my team and I respect their expertise. Collaboration: We encourage collaboration. Let the best win - Period. Communication: We promote clear and concise two-way communication 24X7. Encouragement: Above all we encourage and appreciate each other for the hard work they are putting in. I never question or compete with my team. Because I know they are working and they know the best.
