By ensuring that no subpar product or service is shipped, you prioritize the long-term reputation of your team and organization. Exploring the option to ship parts of a product can also be a practical solution when time is tight, as it allows for a phased delivery while still upholding quality standards. Transparency with clients about the situation is crucial; most appreciate honesty and are willing to grant additional time when they understand the commitment to quality. This builds stronger relationships and demonstrates your dedication to excellence.

You do not prioritize quality assurance tasks. In an optimized system, there are no unnecessary tasks. You have to fulfill all of them. If you set up five relevant parameters necessary to relase your product, you have to measure these five parameters. No discussion. No shortcuts. If deadlines are set too tight, the issue should be communicated to the customers or whoever set up the deadlines. Either the deadlines are broadened or the customer agrees to neglect a quality parameter. There's no other way. If your chromatographs run 24/7 and are only able to process 1500 samples, they will not suddenly be able to process 2000 samples because of a tight deadline.
