Then describe what changes they might expect in as clear and concise a manner as possible. Clearly define any effect of such changes on their experience, timeline, or points of contact. Reassure the client that their needs remain a priority and provide them with a timeline of transition. Invite questions and/or concerns; let them know you are available to discuss things further.

#RealAnswersOnly Look, change isn't fun. The most important aspect of change-management, if you want to call it that, is remaining informed. I cannot stress enough the importance of transferring that knowledge to your team and end-users (clients). Your decision on whether to be transparent or NOT transparent will directly impact everything from the trust people place in you to the reputation of your team and organization. Always choose transparency and be humble. Admit when you don't know. Why this is so hard for people I will never know. Everyone will know when you're being dishonest so just be honest. This first of all cannot be a phone communication with the clients, an inperson meeting is sure important for them to be explained to why the shift and how is it going to affect their business. It is important that it is taken slow and not abrubpt for them to understand.
