You are not being rejected, your product or service is being rejected. And obviously, some people are just objectionable. For potential clients and existing clients, no is the easy answer. Getting to yes is what sales are all about. Got rejected? How long before the NO did you realize and not accept that this deal was not going to happen? Lying to myself early on was a hard habit to break. Asking the questions when I least wanted to hear the answer was a hard habit to develop. I was a sales professional for 35 years. I developed that habit. Too much rejection is a sign of a hungry salesperson hungry salespeople don't sell. Why? When you have made your sale, shut up? Handling rejection either happens or you will leave sales.

I tend to disagree with the notion that every 'no' is one step closer to 'yes'. Opening correctly, with the value and business case for change, will ensure fewer objections and fewer rejections. If you are being rejected, then ask yourself; 1. Are you approaching the right companies, i.e. do you know your ICP? 2. Are you building a picture of the person in the buying role - the Buyer Persona? 3. Are you leading the conversation with value and insight - your value narrative? Of course, selling is built on a foundation of strong character, but hey, salespeople are the most dysfunctional people I know, and rejection is part of the game. ??
