1. Find out if the problem is not based on any leveraged relationships gone wrong. It is more difficult (even impossible) to work with someone who does not trust you. 2. Open communications and find out what the situation is. It is best to let the complaining party speak first to present them a fair chance. Doing so makes it more likely the complaining party will speak more openly. 3. Determine what the real problem is by assessing the situation and gathering facts. It is easy to make the mistake to address the symptoms than the actual problem. 4. Attempt to solve the problem by negotiating an agreement which all parties can benefit and will not cause legal issues. T 5. Plan on future relationships and strategies.
