Sincerity. I think most people understand when there are legitimately sensitive details that can't be made public. Disclose why details cannot be disclosed, answer reasonable questions and commit to remain as transparent as possible as details continue to unfold.

Begin by promptly acknowledging the crisis and providing accurate, concise information about what is known, ensuring that communications are clear and consistent across all channels. Clearly explain any areas where information is being withheld, emphasizing the necessity of protecting sensitive details to prevent further complications or security risks. This approach demonstrates a commitment to openness and accountability, fostering trust among stakeholders, while responsibly managing the dissemination of information to mitigate potential harm.

When my team struggles with burnout, I focus on fostering a supportive work environment to maintain positive interactions. First, I encourage open communication by creating a space where team members feel safe to express concerns and share ideas. This helps build trust and camaraderie. I also promote work-life balance by implementing flexible hours and remote work options, enabling the team to manage stress more effectively. Recognizing and rewarding efforts is essential; I make it a point to regularly acknowledge hard work and contributions to boost morale and foster a sense of appreciation. By employing these strategies, I aim to combat burnout and create a more positive team atmosphere.

The COVID 19 pandemic was an outstanding experience in media management, Media conferences were held on a daily basis, transparency and adequate information was provided and knowledge dissemination was the focus area. The media management was backed by a concerted and collective effort to ensure that vaccines, hospital beds and therapeutics were adequately available. An outstanding effort indeed.

Transparency is maintained through prompt, verified updates, preventing misinformation and reassuring the public. However, sensitive details such as security protocols, ongoing investigations, or passenger identities, must be protected to avoid compromising safety or privacy. A key tool is a dark site, a pre-built, unpublished webpage activated during crises to provide controlled, real-time updates, preventing website crashes and misinformation. Designated spokespeople should deliver consistent messaging, while coordination with aviation authorities ensures compliance with legal and security protocols. This approach maintains public trust while protecting critical operations.
