My suggestion will be : 1.Acknowledge the concern: Show empathy and validate their concern. 2.Clarify the process: Briefly explain the audit's objectives, methodology, and benefits. 3.Highlight past success: Share examples of successful improvements driven by audits. 4.Invite feedback: Ask for specific concerns to open constructive dialogue. 5,Offer transparency: Propose a review of audit reports or a follow-up meeting for clarity. This approach ensures reassurance and invites collaboration for improvement.

When a stakeholder questions the quality audit process, here's how I address their concerns: Listen Carefully: I start by hearing them out fully, making sure I understand their specific issues or doubts. Highlight Benefits: I share examples of how the audit process has improved outcomes, emphasizing benefits like reduced errors and increased customer satisfaction. Address Specific Concerns: If they have particular points of contention, I tackle those directly with factual information. Invite Feedback: I encourage them to share their ideas on how the process could be improved, making it a collaborative effort. Follow Up: After our discussion, I make sure to follow up to see if they have any further questions.

In my experience, stakeholders are asking questions with either curiosity or ignorence of Quality culture on work place. In both case as a Auditor or Quality Manager, it is important to address the question in open dailouges. There are different stages in Audit process where stakeholders shall be consulted and informed. Stage 1: Quality Audit planning Stage 2 : Quality Audit preparation Stage 3 : Quality Audit closure Stage 4 : ReX on Quality Audit process All this stages are platform or an opportunities to address curiousity and motivate Quality culture on work place.

Few things that can be done on this: - Explain that the audit ensures compliance with whatever standard is being audited to (for example ISO 9001:2015) and findings will identify improvement areas - this is a good thing! - Outline the steps to be taken during the audit, e.g. planning, conducting, and reporting the audit. - Highlight the benefits to the audit / improvements in the Quality Management System (QMS) and resource usage. - If there are specific concerns, address these issues directly, such as the objectivity or confidentiality of audits. - You could always share past successes to further build trust on the matter.
