We are all biased one way or another. A simple example is if your friend tells you to order pizza and he wants hawaiian (pineapple on pizza) we would pretend that we never heard him and only get pepperoni. Sadly, in the workplace we may be forced to get the hawaiian or in this case data that takes too long to process or you find difficult for your level. We have to not base our sources on what we "feel like" or try skew in favour of our personal goals but rather be fair as if a 3rd eye was watching us the whole time.

Reconna?tre que le biais de confirmation peut affecter n’importe qui, quelle que soit son expertise, est essentiel pour une analyse équilibrée. Par exemple, lors d'une analyse récente des tendances de vente, j'ai remarqué que j'étais instinctivement attiré par des données qui soutenaient mes attentes initiales de hausse des ventes durant une campagne spécifique. Pour atténuer ce biais, j'ai fait un effort conscient pour examiner également les données qui contrariaient mes attentes. En abordant les données avec un état d’esprit ouvert à toutes les possibilités et en cherchant activement des preuves contradictoires, j'ai pu mener une analyse plus équilibrée et impartiale, ce qui a finalement révélé des insights plus nuancés et précis.
