Being understanding, first and foremost. Asking the client questions to get a better understanding on where they are coming from, and what concerns they have. Afterwards, coming up with a solution ensuring they are a part of the answer. If they come up with the solution with you, they are less likely to have concerns in the future. In the end, it's their "baby" whether that's a business or campaign or product. So, they are going to feel protective over it. I believe it's our job to help them navigate the possibilities we believe and know are best.

Listen and Clarify – Ensure you fully understand their concerns by asking open-ended questions like, “Can you share more details on what specifically isn’t working for you?” 3. Acknowledge and Validate – Show appreciation for their feedback 4. Explain Your Design Choices – professionally articulate the rationale behind your design decisions, keeping their goals and brand in mind. 5. Offer Solutions, propose adjustments or alternatives that align with both your expertise and their vision. 7. Follow Up with a Plan – Summarize the discussion, outline next steps.
