"Finding the right talent is about more than just skills it's about fit, attitude, and growth potential." Here is how I did this: Hired for mindset: I brought on board people who were adaptable, eager to learn, and aligned with our values. Put cultural fit first: Skills are acquirable, but a good team dynamic is the key to lasting success. Real-world applied assignments: I gave candidates real-world problems to see how they think and work. This approach allowed me to build a team that not only met our needs but also drove the business forward.

Driving - You know how to make decisions to drive growth, not just follow orders. 3. Efficiency - Without money to burn, you can get creative and drive ROI. 4. Growth - Managing a static budget isn't growth. Can you 2X, 5X or even 10X revenue? 5. Culture - Do you fit with our mission and are you enjoyable to work with? Unfortunately, finding that person requires work.

Read their CV, then put it aside and have a chat with every candidate. As long as you are aware of the real necessities of the company (team-playing, sales-oriented approach, problem-solving abilities...) you will be able to individuate the right person. Remember that every company is made of several people, and they are the main asset, so their qualities, their pros and cons, not only their curricula, will be your measure while choosing. Think about soft skills and how to implement the team that already works in the company with complementary elements, this is the golden rule.

I look for a candidate who is proactive and calm during the interview process. A proactive and engaging candidate will more likely translate to a team player and an asset to the company’s growth, when hired, in my experience.
