However, it is important to consider security over time as the reputation of a company on how it handles customer data is a critical factor for defining the success of the company.

As a team, each individual possesses differnet abilities and hails from different forms of streams. Managing InfoSec requires close collaboration of technology, process and people and tuning and compatibility within teams is very important for the effectiveness of InfoSec as a whole. Moreover, incident response and its constituents like SOC and NOC reauire 24*7 monitoring and availability of resources which is a challenge.

Regulations such as PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) are some of the mandates by RBI in India which have severe implications when not met or not met in the provided timeframe. Recent example, Paytm has been barred from its payment wing from Paytm Wallet and Paytm Payments Bank due to non-compliance of regulations. Regulatory bodies are very serious when it comes to compliance achievement, and there are predifined have penalties in case compliance is not met.
