Additionally, I attended conferences, such as Geo Connect Asia in Singapore, where the networking prospects were unparalleled.

Join a professional association is the best way to access the opportunity in GIS community. We will meet, or even discuss with the expert one. We also have access to join or even to present our research/ finding in the conference. We can network with experts and learn from them.
