Before assigning tasks, it's important to know your team well. Understand what they're good at, what they're not so good at, what they like doing, and when they're available. This helps you match tasks with the right people, making sure everyone's skills, preferences, and workload are taken into account. Regularly talk to your team, ask for feedback, and keep an eye on how they're doing. Also, keep track of their schedules and deadlines to avoid giving them too much or too little to do. This way, you'll keep your team balanced and working at their best.

Knowing your team's strengths and weaknesses is important; allowing room for experimentation is also as important. When we do not see failure from a negative standpoint, but as an inspiration to allow for other ways of doing something, we can allow for certain activities to be delegated. Our team's grow when we give them a chance to take some risk.

I assign tasks for both, some tasks are within the skillset, some are just outside of the comfort zone but wanting to learn.
