Just like musicians tune because they care....you too need to proof because you care....about your audience.

After this you can massage it, knowing the content you need is there. The best way to improve is to write! Pay attention to writers who draw you in. What are they doing? Telling a story? Giving anecdotes and metaphors? Being authentic? Adding humor? Emulate what you like, but keep in mind who your customer is and the tone. Always read your writing OUT LOUD, and get a second set of eyes on it when you're starting out if possible.

When LinkedIn, launch it's publishing section, I was one of those first batches invited to write. The best way to start is still to start. There’s no shortcut to it. You can only improve your writing by writing and increasing how often you do it. Regular writing can help grow your expertise. Just focus on pouring out your thoughts about that issue in writing. At this stage, do not edit, just write all you can about the subject matter. And when you are done, edit without mercy. I use this technique for all kinds of writing. Also, it’s best to do a good research before you start writing as most incapabilities could be as a result of not having adequate knowledge of the subject matter. Reading can help improve your writing.
I'm a big believer in practice. The old adage says, "practice makes perfect," but I say practice makes progress. The only way to become a skilled writer is to practice, find the time to sit down and start. Make it a habit, it's essential for honing your craft. As a writer with experience in screenplays, articles, and various content forms, I've learned that "writing is rewriting." Something one of my screenplay professors once told me still holds true. Often, writing is a process that involves more than one draft. Each revision refines your work, polishing it until it your message shines through. And remember to extend grace to yourself throughout this process.
