I am a firm believer that there are a lot of experiences both professionally and academically that while not explicitly calling out "sustainability" still develop relevant skills. Ultimately, it is a matter of how you cite and demonstrate examples of sustainability from your work. Generally, an interest in sustainability is something you can carry with you and learn through other channels and express in conversations. Sustainability professionals are typically very friendly and welcoming, so do not be afraid to reach out!
