I always suggest beginners and aspiring cloud adopters to start with: 1. Learn the basics of what "Cloud Computing" means and attempt foundation certifications. 2. Focus on a single public cloud to start with: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Understand compute, storage, and network concepts. 3. Start creating resources and integrating them using Terraform. For example: (a) Create a host, storage, and network & Integrate using script. (c) Host a sample application and start accessing it from the internet and locally. Start with one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP) and establish a solid foundation. Transitioning to multi-cloud expertise is easier once you understand common logical flows and concepts, despite variations in commands or service names.

Cloud computing is somebody else computers! In this case the computers of the cloud providers. They take care of all these hardware parts in much higher scale than you could do yourself on-premises. Not only it is the computers of the cloud providers but they also provides tons of services. Regularly they update their services and add new ones to enrich what they can offer. I didn't see any document on that yet but they are probably using DevOps and microservices principle to deploy their services for us to use. You pay for what you use and according to the group of services you use (IaaS, PaaS or Saas) you share the responsability of your infrastructure in the cloud.
