One should dispense with their predispositions, previous knowledge, beliefs and values when they are engaging in the practice of research analysis. They should face the research they are analyzing with an empty and innocent mind. This means that they should treat the research as if it were something new or as if it were the first time being introduced to the topic. To stop your beliefs from hampering the process of research analysis one must be able to identify their beliefs before hand. This then makes them aware of the bias they may have regarding the research. This enables to be able to separate their beliefs from the research. One should be careful to not formulate opinions in their minds about the particular research before finishing.
