What I learnt from my 15years It exp, leading around 100 member team, below are few tips I would share: - In crowded market, and in time of AI, all resumes would be perfect match for JD. - You need to make resume right to match JD, then make custom cover letter while apply. - Followup more with same company, so they know you really care, and want to join them. - Follow company page, HRs and reachout. Show more commitment towards 1 company, and they woudl give opportunity.

To stand out in a crowded job market, identify and highlight your unique skills and strengths in your resume and cover letter. Use specific examples and achievements that demonstrate how these skills have positively impacted previous roles. Networking with industry professionals can also help you showcase your expertise. Finally, personal branding on platforms like LinkedIn allows you to present your story and value effectively!

Build your network! Talk with your peers about industry trends, be a sparring partner and share your ideas and recommendations to your network. In this way, you will not just have a written CV with beautiful words, but people in the industry will know you as an expert.

I get this context often. I believe in the current US job market, from my area of expertise, it’s more important for professionals to keep learning and growing. I am in favor of higher ed. and learning, and I work in this field. For some careers, a degree specifically is needed for roles and job offers, and a temptation can be for some candidates to believe a degree is enough. Instead, I’d say examine your field and think how can you keep developing professionally. Education and professional growth are a “both/and” discussion. Ideas to help — 1. Really research your career field and focus your efforts on your degree first if you find employers are asking for that in candidates; 2. Professional associations ; 3. Self directed projects

As marketers apply psychology to captivate and win over consumers, we can utilize the same strategies to attract hiring managers. Let′s take a look at the CV as our self-advertisement, instead of a chronological list of all the responsibilities we have. Much like a headline in an ad, the summary of the CV should be value-driven, conveying the type of value we have provided previous employers/clients. For example. If you're applying for a role in luxury retail, your value-driven message might be this: Led and coached a +25 employee team, restructured a sales consultants unit, set up a new motivation and remuneration program that boosted sales results by 48% and decreased store employee turnover by 34%.
