This is as critical as knowing the requirements and depends on the Resources availability, quantum of work and Technical base and capability of team. Having a high end software with limited or less capable resource will not as affective as using a Mid tear software with capable and abundant human resources. 3. Reporting needs above are should be basis of selection of any software whether it is to be used for technical or project management perspective.
