While defining, executing and reviewing safety plans are important aspects, the most important thing why project management skills can help to reduce accidents is because, by doing proper planning and project management, there will be better time management. When things are properly planned and timed, there is no rush in executing plan. Most of the time, accident happens because people are rushing things and want to get the job done. When people rush things, they make mistakes and accidents may happen.
