In agile UCD, educating stakeholders on benefits is crucial. We must explain how user satisfaction drives product success, using metrics like Customer Lifetime Value (CLV) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC) to demonstrate ROI. This approach shows UCD's long-term impact on both product performance and business strategy. Emphasize that UCD goes beyond creating intuitive interfaces; it's about aligning product development with user needs and business goals. This strategic approach leads to sustainable growth and competitive advantage. By linking UCD to key business metrics and long-term strategy, we can effectively communicate its value in the agile process, fostering stakeholder buy-in and support for user-centered practices. #design

To get resistant stakeholders on board with user-centered design in agile projects, start by showing them how it helps the business directly—like improving customer satisfaction, boosting revenue, or making things run smoother. When they see it’s not just about looks but actually drives results, they’re more likely to support it. Next, focus on quick wins. Small design changes that quickly make things better for users can be powerful proof that user-centered design works without needing big changes. Lastly, invite stakeholders to watch user testing sessions or hear real customer feedback. Seeing real people use the product helps make design feel real and important. These steps keep things simple and focused on showing real value.

In my experience, the best way to win the stakeholder's confidence is to show them the data. Of course, one should have the data supporting the new user-centered design before attempting the change.

This is not zero sum game.. I do everything I can that we both win. If I win, better find new job... because I don't work for losers. If they win that is kind ok.. Smarter then me.. I work for that people...

Understand stakeholders point of view, acknowledge merits in their views and analyse its relevance to challenges faced by persona. Even resistance could provide opportunity for design to evolve strongly.
