I would include communication skills, but I would expand it generally to "soft skills". - Knowing how to build relationships - Work ethic and resilience - Creativity - Collaboration with others - Growth mindset - Etc. So much of PR is about the soft skills, and if you develop those, you'll be in a terrific place over the course of your career.
