In the National Econs & Finance Competition in SG, the first round tests students how interactive and understandable their videos were to the general public (mine is about Tragedy of the Commons and Coase Theorem using the case study of sand and land reclamation). Land reclamation is chosen as it is something very relatable for a small island city like SG), followed by writing an academic paper of Australia's green finance sector. Furthermore, there would be times we had to craft policies and present to model government agencies and organisations. Econs is not meant to be learnt only through pen and paper. Communication of ideas is equally important.
