What I learnt from my 15years It exp, leading around 100 member team, below are few tips I would share: 1. Always keep eye on latest upcoming trends in industry. 2. explore on latest trends & best pratices & keep sharing on social platforms like Linkedin. 3. Help others to gain expertise in your industry. When you do this, automatically everyone knows, you are expert in the field, and opportunities open up for you.

Standing out in a competitive industry starts with self-awareness. Identify your core strengths and unique value, then showcase them through real-world examples, testimonials, and results. Sharing insights, case studies, or personal experiences on platforms like LinkedIn can also position you as a thought leader and highlight your unique skills effectively.

1. Understand Yourself: Breadth or Depth? Are you drawn to breadth of expertise or are you a specialist with deep niche expertise? The competitive advantages of these paths are distinct. 2. Look for individuals who align with your chosen focus: What can you learn from their approach? How do they differentiate themselves in the industry? 3. Define Your Unique Value: How does your perspective add value to your work? Think of yourself as a consultant, even if you're in an in-house role. What’s the tangible output of your work? Without a clear EVP, others can’t define it for you. 4. Finally, Communicate Your Value Learn to confidently articulate what you do: - Within your workplace - During professional networking opportunities

1. Create a portfolio of events/activities well before you go out in the job market. Thus you'll ensure people may see and engage with your content even before meeting you in person. 2. Ensure you are visible in your industry and niche, by attending key events, through keynotes and public speaking engagements. 3. Find the right balance between online content (ex. webinars/podcasts) and high touch genuine connections (ex. coffee chats, 1:1 mentorships) so you can position yourself as a thought leader, yet also accessible and trustworthy in person.

Stand Out in Your Competitive Industry In my experience, showcasing your unique skills starts with self-awareness. One time at work, I identified a gap in social media engagement and implemented creative content strategies that drove results. This helped me stand out as a problem-solver. One thing I’ve found helpful is sharing specific success stories during conversations or on platforms like LinkedIn. Highlighting measurable achievements and unique approaches grabs attention. To get started, identify your strengths, document your wins, and tailor your message to resonate with your audience. Standing out isn’t just about being different—it’s about showing how your difference creates value.
