You should do daily counting, choose small quantity of items, double check the counting with a secondary person doing the re-count. every day I have to make daily preputial count for items ( A class ) which help me to monitor the highly amount items + core items I disturbed it on all my team each one have to do it for defined items to follow up my stock and monthly cycle count for all stock to know different and reconciliation it put preventive action to repeated it

Yes we can use the Bar code scanning for Dispatch or inward and put the qty and Batch and location and same will be captured your books. This is time effective process. But there is loop hole, you can put qty manually and will be impacted on Inventory.

I would like to add a well labeled warehouse with a location for each product In alphabetical/numerical order works well in conjunction with inventory management software. Once the first count is conducted, a re-count of the unbalanced variances are dealt with swiftly by proper location signage. Re-checking the off variances shown in the system by their locations helps you save time. If you’re item shows 5 locations, you can go check them because the software lets you know where to go in the warehouse. Find the issue, fix it, and move on to the next item.
