In order to address my team's concerns about new technology, I begin by acknowledging their worries and providing clear, factual information about the risks and benefits. I organize training sessions to help them gain confidence and competence with the new technology. Additionally, I implement a phased approach, starting with small, low-risk tasks to ease the transition. Regular check-ins and open communication allow for feedback and quick adjustments, ensuring the team feels supported and the risks are managed.

Addressing your team’s concerns about risks with new technology requires open communication and reassurance. Start by organizing a meeting to discuss the specific concerns and challenges they foresee. Provide detailed information about the benefits of the new technology, backed by data and case studies that demonstrate its success elsewhere. Outline a clear risk mitigation plan, explaining safety measures, training, and support systems that will be in place. Involve them in the implementation process, giving them a sense of ownership and control. Continuous feedback loops can also help reduce anxiety and foster trust in the new tech.

It is always hard to embrace new tech when old tools are working ok. Exploratory mindset is key, when we explore a new tool or tech we often think about how much time it will take to replace what's working and how it impacts our releases. Next time there is a good tool or technology that saves time, adds value, starts slow and migrates to the new efficiently. Sometimes if new stuff is very good dedicate more time and replace faster. Effort and time to replace is far greater than maintaining old tools and having inefficiencies

Le mejor camino, es reunir todos los posibles casos de uso para esta nueva tecnología, documentarlos y lograr que mejoren los resultados de cada caso. Esto seguramente deberá mejorar la vida de los responsables. Listo.

To address tech-related concerns, start with open communication, allowing your team to voice their worries. Acknowledge the risks and present a balanced view of advantages (efficiency, cost savings) and disadvantages (learning curves, security risks). Analyze how the technology will impact processes, showing tangible improvements in efficacy and efficiency. Provide training and support to ease fears of the unknown and start with a pilot program to gather feedback and make adjustments. This methodical approach will help your team adapt to the new tech while addressing their concerns empathetically.
