Strengthen Connections: Organize team-building activities and social events to strengthen relationships and foster a supportive work environment.One thing I've found helpful: Scheduling regular team-building exercises helps build trust and camaraderie among team members.Actually, I disagree with: The idea that team bonding is a one-time activity. Regular interactions are key to maintaining a strong team dynamic.An example I've seen is: A team that participated in off-site retreats and team-building exercises, which improved collaboration and morale.

Beyond clear objectives (or SMART), it is necessary to clearly explain the correspondence of the mission with the values of the company and the team and how this will bring added value. It is also a matter of specifying the classification of objectives and explaining the classification process through optimization or possible pooling according to each person's achievement. Finally, the objective must be clear but above all with a deadline and an explanation of the related means or support method.

Long term projects can be draining on team members. Following is my experience. 1. Clearify scope, set measureable goals and simplify procedures (check listed). 2. Involve youngsters in the projects early on and at various stages so that they learn and can lead later. 3. Rotation of members to release stress on the team. 4. Periodic breaks. 5. Proper engineering tools. 6. Prepare cheatsheets for quick reference. 7. Avoiding long and cumbersom reports. In Middle East they love thick reports. In reality no body reads them. 8. Minimize beaurocratic involvement and micro management.

If communication on means and methods must be open, the decision must be understood (not automatically accepted but understood in the sense of "why it is THE priority even if it is not YOUR priority"). And, during feedback, communication must be open to ALL participants and not just the team (with whom the exchange of feedback will be carried out live and afterwards)

Para conciliar la vida laboral con la vida familiar/social, planifica y gestiona tu tiempo de manera efectiva, estableciendo límites claros entre ambos aspectos. Prioriza actividades importantes, delega tareas cuando sea posible y aprovecha la flexibilidad laboral si la tienes. Planifica y reserva tiempo específico para actividades sociales o familiares asegurando un equilibrio que favorezca tanto tu bienestar personal como profesional.

Balancing private and professional life is the manager's priority to maintain motivation (not commitment, which comes from reward/recognition) to achieve the objective. Ideally, the workload plan should be adjusted according to each person's abilities and desires, but some people have one but not the other. Then, it can be in asymmetry in a short time but in the long term: this is not possible without affecting the state of health of the employee, from whom we cannot ask as much as a manager. Finally, if this balance is correct, team cohesion will be strong and the team balanced, united and motivated.

Beyond motivation, recognition and reward (at its fair and equitable value) creates and reinforces team commitment. This goes beyond his motivation for an objective but brings his will to be able, punctually, to achieve the objectives with fewer explanations, in a hurry, or even to propose them.
