One thing I have found helpful with my team is, start with an open ended communication, to understand where the gap is, you need to understand in detail the friction points and area where the actual help is needed. Is it something to do with the interest alignment or right resources are not available, accordingly a plan of action should be prepared. Continous feedbacks and reviews should be done to track the progress
