Según mi experiencia, lo mas relevante es identificar cual realmente el problema, en vez de una consecuencia de él. Esto se puede hacer mediante el analisis de causa raiz, hasta entender que es lo que hay que resolver, identificar a quienes les afecta el problema, cuales son sus intereses, y con ello realizar colaborativamente la definición del problema y que es lo que se necesita para considerarlo resuelto

In my organisation a common method to establish the root cause of a problem is to use the "5 Whys" approach. This is a simple yet very effective tool.

Es importante hacer un correcto analisis de causas y llegar hasta la causa principal. Esto te va ayudar a enfocarte en lo critico.

Depois de definir o problema, mas antes de iniciar a fase de idéias para solucionar, é muito importante encontrar a Causa Raiz do problema e, ent?o, buscar idéias para corrigir.

En mi experiencia relacionada con innovación, una vez identificado el problema, si es complejo, este se puede desagregar en diferentes aristas o subproblemas, y para cada una de estas aristas buscar soluciones, evaluandolas en conjunto con los stakeholders, generando al menos 2 opciones, para así en el momento de consolidarlas, ver si se generan sinergias entre la solucion a los distintos subproblemas, si se pueden fusionar, cual es el valor que se agrega con la solucion total propuesta y los costos y externalidades, para ver si se aprueba consensuadamente o es preciso revisar nuevas opciones hasta llegar al optimo posible

Once you have a solid problem statement next step will be to narrow down your possibilities of causes to arrive at root cause. To do so, will set up a team of cross functional team and hear all the possible causes from everyone. Some of the tools which may help to get ideas from each team member will be the Why-Why analysis & Fish bone tools. Though it important to generate potential solutions to the problem, it is crucial to identify what the root cause of the issue is. By identifying the root cause, we can ensure that our solutions are targeted and effective, rather than just addressing surface-level symptoms. i.e. you could identify that your team has low productivity. Taking the extra time to analyze could help you understand that there is lack of clear direction on priorities or that there is manual work being done, increasing time spent addressing issues that could be automated. Deeply analyzing issues will let you identify more effective solutions that directly address the underlying issues and lead to long-term sustainable improvements in the team.

When it comes to problem-solving, there are different approaches you can try. You can experiment, brainstorm, or seek advice from others. It really depends on the situation and the specific problem you're facing. But always remember that the hectic days makes you more productive in your career field background.

This type is a pivotal problem-solving strategy that involves a systematic examination of potential solutions to determine their feasibility, effectiveness, and alignment with objectives. This process includes assessing the advantages and disadvantages, considering resource requirements, and evaluating the impact on stakeholders.

In my opinion, I think there are several analytical methods and tools that can be used to critically analyse and compare different opinions and ideas from colleague on a specific strategic decision. I think adopting the decision tree analysis approach,one can visually outlining the potential outcomes, costs, and consequences of a complex decision and opinions from team members.

"Implementation ", sounds like "I'm closer to getting it ! This strategy involves putting the selected solution into action based on the insights gained from testing and evaluation. Successful implementation requires careful planning, coordination, and a commitment to monitoring and adapting as needed.

Idea implementation is a product of combination of project management, communication, document sharing, and collaborative idea generation tools. Integrating these tools effectively into your workflow will promote transparency, efficiency, and a more cohesive working environment. This can also significantly improve teamwork and problem-solving within your team.

Feedback is paramount. It's important to setup channels to attain feedback, whether that's a phone call from a colleague or a phone call to the customer or a Microsoft Form to collect it. This next part is the important part; what you're viewing. Often times feedback turns into a pat on the back or a way to achieve cheap dopamine. Find the metrics and attributes that actually move the needle, pick the top, and stick to them like glue. Don't pick the metrics that make you feel good and don't serve to fill you in on the health of the program, project, or business. Pick an interval to view selected data and do not deviate. Once per day, week, quarter, etc. Feedback is key, but only when used in the fine tuning of the project.

Data always helps here. Setup your flags correctly to understand how the new implementations are working. The best way to go is to compare the results of the implementation with historic trends which you based your initial hypothesis on. Always trust the user behaviour and build a story. This will make the data more relevant and analysis of new implementation more fruitful.

I agree with the above steps however I think an important part of problem solving is when you find a solution, gathering feedback to see others perspective is paramount to ensure its sustainable.

Empathy!! Start by understanding the problem, the people and environment it affects and the solution will work it self out. So the best tool you can use is empathy, a pen and a piece of paper.

To take a step back, and understand the source of the problem. What is getting in the way of good collaboration could be many factors. Lack of a good accountability systems, lack of registered evidence of past events, lack of trust between the parties, etc. These factors jeopardize problem solving whether for an internal or external projects. Having the right empowerment for people, together with a methods that allow accountability and lessons to be learned can be abetted by having the right process and tools that help people visualize and facilitate joint work. For bigger projects for example, having good project tools that facilitate traceability, structure and multiple inputs is key for project success. Share your thoughts!

As a group, we sometimes reach a point where the workload feels overwhelming, especially when tackling complex problems. -Define /explain the problem statement in a clearly understandable way ,with it's effect on the business- to make make people understand why it is labelled as a "problem" on a collaborate white board - get the team to post their understanding of the problem -go thro the problem statements as a team and come to a common ground that it is agreed as a problem requiring a fix -now ,start with a fish bone analysis to derive the root cause of the problem - as a group,discuss and deliberate on the root causes -get into group brain storming for idea generation and discuss on each ideas listed -get into voting of the ideas generated which could be the potential fix -pick the most rated ones ,deliberate and agree on the way forward
