I believe there are some reasons for not achieving the productivity goals: The first one is to have good data to analyze the root cause and to identify the top reasons to the bottom. Among the top ones, this is my recommendation: Manual process: automate them, there are many ways to do it. Lack of skills: identity if your team needs reskilling, upskilling or need to be moved to somewhere else. Lack of coordination or collaboration: communication, regular meeting and gamification could help the integration among the team. Lack of leadership: have a conversation with the leader to help he/she to succeed and see if it works.

In my experience, if the team doesn’t get regular updates for what is going on, they can get lost if their job is producing the desirable result. And it is very important for them if they are helping the company to achieve the productivity goals and to make profit. I used to have a big team in several countries so I normally did the following: to send regular updates through newsletter; to travel to the countries to visit the team and to get feedback and finally; run a quarterly online meeting inviting all the team ( I used to have 30% of the team on the quarterly meeting which is very good).
