When communication is a challenge, it is especially important to have clear protocols for service delivery. That means having a setup where all team members can access easy-to-follow, well-documented protocols of service that they themselves can use—and in my experience, using a combination of written and visual instructions works best. It can also help to have regular brief meetings to talk about service priorities, especially when things are busy, to ensure that everyone is still on the same page and not being pulled in multiple directions at once.
